HOPE Technik’s T.A.S

HOPE Technik’s T.A.S (Temperature Assessment System) is an easy to set up system aimed to help users quickly measure their body temperature for a fever, a symptom of the coronavirus.

T.A.S is equipped with multiple sensors which allows it to detect the body temperature of the user standing in front of it, and automatically accommodates persons of different heights. With effectively no manpower needed via a self-screening process, T.A.S is able to perform the temperature measurement within 2 seconds at a class-leading distance of 0.4 metres. The user will then be informed with different light colours indicating if they are either below the fever threshold or above it with their temperature displayed.

With a small footprint for easy portability and placement, the compact size of T.A.S allows it to be placed anywhere with high footfall areas. Its measuring time of < 2 seconds allows T.A.S to screen up to 720 people per hour.
